How to use it

  • To affirm or negate: I am a student / I am not a student.

我是法国人。

wǒ shì fǎ guó rén。

I am French.

她不喜欢咖啡。

jīntiān tiān qì hěn hǎo。

The weather is nice today.

Notes and exceptions

  • Negation is made with 不 or 没有 according to the context.
