Notes and exceptions
- 再 is for the FUTURE
- for past repetition, use 又 (HSK advanced).
- 再 : again; once more. The word '再' is used to indicate an action that repeats or happens again.
Common mistakes
- Do not use 再 for the past: *I went back yesterday → I went back again yesterday.
